August 7, 2022 - North Bend and the Days After.

Settling back in at home involved hours in the garden and watering. The garden had shown us it did not like being ignored. We made a trip to Scott’s Dairy Freeze for milkshakes, burgers, and fries and ran them up to the Pass on request for trail friends passing thru. Scott's has quite a reputation on the PCT. We also entertained and provided refuge for several other trail friends requiring a bit more of a break. Other days I made some repairs and upgrades to the trailer. Our main diet for several dinners consisted of giant Caesar salads. Now it's time to stroll back into the mode of home life and dream of adventures to come.
