A second Zero Day. We are on vacation!

Camp Sula does have WiFi but it wasn't immediately cooperating this morning. It also seems that all text messages don't always get in or out and we can't make phone calls. After a couple of coffees we drove about 40 miles up the highway to Hamilton. It is a relatively big town and has a nice downtown area. We found a cafe and sat outside at a table and caught up on phone calls and texts while we enjoyed our lattes. And of course every one wants to stop and pet Beau.

We stopped at the town Safeway for a few groceries and then a bookstore for a couple of books for Peggy. She burns through a book like a wildfire in the forest. On the way back we saw "Lost Horse Creek" which begs the question, do horses just get lost here? Or is that where owners go to look when they've lost their horse? And there are a lot more creeks out here whose names also beg questions.

Back at the RV park it's getting warm. I sat down and gave Beau a good brushing and Peggy went over to do laundry. After making a sandwich I gave the A/C for the T@B a good trial run before a nap and it works great. Later in the afternoon maybe a dozen Harley riders pulled into the campground and took over all the cabins and gathered not far behind our site. It's amazing to me what a stereotype I put on Harley riders, especially in a gang, after living near Oakland, California in the 70's and 80's. Hells Angels territory. I was sure hoping none of these guys here were going to ask me for the code to the bathroom! A bit later, off their bikes, they didn't look so tough as they walked to the bathroom in their shorts with their skinny white legs and their leathers off. And they didn't so much walk as they did limp or hobble. They were actually pretty nice folks, kinda like my neighbor Will and one of my best friends, JD. They partied around their campfire and sang "Happy Birthday" to one of their buddies but were going lights-out and quiet by ten PM. They certainly hadn't bothered Peggy much who had fallen asleep on top of the bed by about eight PM.
